Geography Trivia Terms of Use

1. AGREEMENT

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Geography Trivia game for iPhone and iPad ("the App"), developed by Efe Gerek ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA regarding your license to use the App, the Apple EULA prevails. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. LICENSE

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment and learning, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.

3. SCORES, STREAKS AND PROGRESS

• Scores, streaks, mastery, leaderboard ranks and duel wins are part of the game and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be bought with money, sold, transferred, or exchanged for money or anything of value.
• Your progress is stored only on your device and is not synced between devices. If you delete the App, reset your progress or change devices, it cannot be restored by us. Scores already posted to Game Center stay on its leaderboards, and Remove Ads can always be restored with Settings → Restore Purchases.
• The Daily Challenge allows one attempt per day; a new challenge starts at midnight in your local time.
• To keep the game accurate and fair, we may update questions, answers, scoring, time limits and game modes in updates.

4. PURCHASES AND REFUNDS

The only purchase in the App is Remove Ads. It is made through Apple's App Store and is subject to Apple's terms. The price is shown in the App before you buy. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds directly. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

5. ADVERTISING

The App is free to play and supported by ads from Google AdMob: a banner on some screens and a full-screen ad between games, at most once every 60 seconds. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or for products advertised in them. Ads need an internet connection; the quizzes themselves can be played offline. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

6. GAME CENTER AND MULTIPLAYER

Leaderboards, Quick Duel, Live Duel and friend challenges are provided through Apple's Game Center and are subject to Apple's terms. They need a Game Center account and an internet connection, and their availability is outside our control. In duels you play against real people: other players can see your Game Center name and photo, and we do not control other players' names, photos or behavior. A Live Duel needs another player to be online at the same time, so a match may not always be found.

7. FAIR PLAY

You agree not to:

• Modify, decompile, reverse engineer or tamper with the App or its data
• Use cheats, exploits, automation or unauthorized software to gain an advantage or manipulate leaderboards or duels
• Harass other players or use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms others

We may remove scores obtained through cheating from leaderboards where Game Center allows.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App and its original content, including its code, design, app icon and hand-drawn landmark illustrations, are works of Efe Gerek and are protected by copyright and other laws. National flags are the official symbols of their countries and are not claimed as our work, and the country outlines are based on public-domain Natural Earth map data. The App's text uses Apple's system fonts (SF Pro Rounded), which are part of iOS. The Geography Trivia logo and app icon may not be used without permission.

9. QUIZ CONTENT

We work to keep flags, capitals, country outlines, landmark locations and facts accurate and up to date, but the App is a game, not an authoritative reference, and we cannot guarantee that every answer is complete or error-free. Country names, borders and capitals are shown for quiz purposes only and do not express any opinion on the legal status of any country or territory. If you spot a mistake, please let us know.

10. UPDATES AND AVAILABILITY

We may update the App, add or remove features, or stop offering it. We try to keep your progress and purchases working across updates, but we cannot guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device or iOS version.

11. DISCLAIMER

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, scores or progress, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for purchases in the App during the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. TERMINATION

These Terms apply as long as you use the App. Your license ends automatically if you breach them. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.

15. CHANGES

We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page with its "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
