TL;DR
I rebuilt the website of a dental clinic in Fatih, Istanbul as a fast bilingual (TR/EN) site, then kept working on it under a monthly SEO retainer. Three months in: 467 organic clicks, about 23,800 impressions with daily impressions up 2.4×, AI search visibility up fivefold, and a clinic that now ranks for its district, not only its name.
Building a website for a local dental clinic in Istanbul looks like an ordinary corporate web project. Done properly it is something else: a channel that ranks for neighbourhood searches, turns searches into WhatsApp appointment requests, introduces the clinic's dentists to the patient before the first visit, and keeps getting cited by search engines months after launch.
Günaydın Dental Clinic is an oral and dental health clinic in Fatih, a five-minute walk from the Emniyet-Fatih metro station. The goals: capture patients from Fatih and the neighbouring districts, rank for local searches such as "fatih diş kliniği", and present the clinic's specialities, implants, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry, with content that earns trust.
This article covers what was built, and, because the site has now been live for months, what the numbers say.
Requirements
Four requirements came out of the first meeting.
A local-first structure. The clinic is in Fatih and most of its patients come from Fatih and the districts around it. The site had to be built around that, with each treatment, from implants and orthodontics to clear aligners, whitening and root canals, able to rank on its own.
Bilingual content. Turkish as the main site, an English version for the foreign residents of Istanbul who book from time to time.
Trust signals in the search results. The clinic, its dentists and its treatments should appear with rich previews, not as a bare link.
Mobile performance. Local search happens on a phone. A patient searching for an emergency dentist with a dental abscess does not wait for a page to load.
What was delivered
- A fast bilingual site (TR/EN), fully rebuilt, with no forms: the clinic prefers WhatsApp, so every page leads there
- A page for every treatment and every dentist, structured so Google shows the clinic's rating and details in the results
- A dedicated Fatih page with real walking and transit directions from the district's neighbourhoods, a same-day emergency block, the dentists, and Google reviews
- Consistency between the website and the Google Business Profile down to the last character
- Lighthouse mobile scores of 90+ for performance and 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO in both languages, and a 97/100 health score in Ahrefs
- An anonymous, cookie-free count of every tap on the WhatsApp, phone and map buttons, shown to the clinic on a private dashboard
What happened after launch: the retainer
A launch is a starting line. The clinic continued with a monthly SEO retainer: a handful of new Turkish articles every month, each chosen from the clinic's own search data rather than from a keyword tool's head terms, in clusters around clear aligners, dental abscess, whitening, root canals and daily care. By September 2026 the blog had 23 of them.
The last three months, June 7 to September 6:
- 467 organic clicks and about 23,800 impressions
- Daily impressions up from roughly 150 in June to 365 in September, a 2.4× rise
- Impressions in Google's AI search features up fivefold, from about 9 a day to 46
- Homepage average position 3.7; the clinic ranks for its own name plus the district, and for "fatih diş hekimi" at position 3
The homepage still takes most of the clicks, which is what you expect from a business with a strong Business Profile. The retainer's job is the non-brand traffic: patients who have never heard the clinic's name and arrive through a question about a treatment. That share grows every month, and the best-performing page on the whole site is now a plain care article, ahead of every treatment page.
Conclusion
A website for a local dental clinic does not end with a good design. Local foundations, fast performance, trust in the search results, and then a steady stream of content chosen from real search data have to work together. Günaydın Dental Clinic required care on every one of those fronts, and the numbers three months into the retainer are the reason to keep going.
The dental clinic website page explains what is included and how pricing works, and other projects are on the references page. If you are considering a site for a clinic, a hotel or another business, the contact form is the place to start.
